About the Artist

My name is Lisa Jay, and I am a Bi, North Carolina-based digital artist. I've been in the creative world in some form or another since 2002. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2005 excited to take family pictures. Over time I discovered that I find the most joy creating both digital and woodburning/pyrography art. I find inspiration everywhere I go, but my favorite pieces of art involve activism, nature, and all matters of the heart.

I'm a full-time mom (to 3 wild people who keep growing) and pets (2 cats), wife (to a lovable husband who keeps me laughing), and I'm an Instructional Designer. My aspiration is to eventually transition to running my art business on a full-time basis. The opportunity to share my creations with you is truly a privilege, and I eagerly anticipate personal and artistic growth throughout this journey.
