This piece is one of my favorites from my experimental illustrations. The night before I began drawing this, we found a lunar moth on our front porch. None of us had ever seen one in real life before and it's beauty captivated the five of us for quite some time. This by no means captures the true essence of this beautiful creature, but that didn't stop me from trying to create one in it's own mystical world.
